New Contributor: Bea Spolidoro, Fisher ARCHitecture
Exciting news! Yesterday, I had a great meeting with Bea Spolidoro, a renowned architect, recent president and current board member of the Pittsburgh chapter of the AIA about this very website. Bea and her husband Eric Fisher have built their firm, Fisher ARCHitecture, so it’s bigger than just your typical architecture firm. They’ve built a meticulous creative design studio, emphasizing “thoughtfulness, progressiveness, and contextuality” in everything they dream up.
They’ve won some significant awards through this approach, and now Bea is joining Crusher Deluxe as a contributor! She will be sharing some of her team’s design work — built and unbuilt — with our audience here.
I’ve known Bea for a couple of years now, and she’s definitely one of us, which was proven once again when she checked out our Spotify playlist of local music and told me that it helped her to find a new band to love, “Different Places in Space”.
So yeah, I’m thrilled to have Bea as part of the Crusher Deluxe community and can't wait to see the exciting ideas and projects she shares. Please join me in welcoming her and Eric into the fold.
